Netavis Observer with iCAT
Instructions for how to install Netavis Observer are available in the Quick Installation Cheat Sheet and in the Server Installation and Administration Guide.

Netavis sMart Data Warehouse
A description of how to install, update, and maintain sMart systems is available in the sMart Installation Guide. A 2-page overview of the basic
configuration steps is available as the sMart Basic Configuration Cheat Sheet. The Configuration Guide offers a detailed description of how to configure a sMart system in German language. The Security Cockpit Basic Configuration provides an overview of the basic confirguration steps fo the Security Cockpit.
LICENSES
Netavis Observer with iCAT
License-less mode: This mode allows you to use the Observer system 15 minutes (without adding any cameras). When you click on the continue button, you move directly to the login window. After 15 minutes, you have to log in to the Observer system again.
Demo license: A demo-license key assigned by Netavis Software GmbH allows you to test and use the Observer system in demo license mode with the Enterprise Edition with up to 5 users and up to 20 cameras for 1 month with no other restrictions. On explicit request, also a CarReader demo license for 1 month is available. Only one demo license will be issued per server. Please complete the order form including the software identifier and e-mail it to our order team to receive a demo license.
Permanent license: After you have entered your full-license key, this mode allows you to use the Observer system without restrictions. The maximum number of users, cameras and modules is restricted by the number of user, camera and module licenses that you have purchased. Please complete the order form including the software identifier and e-mail it to our
order team to receive a permanent license.
Netavis sMart Data Warehouse
Demo license: A demo license file assigned by Netavis Software GmbH allows you to test and use sMart Data Warehouse with 3 users and 10 sensors for 1 month. Only one demo license will be issued per server. Please complete the order form including the software identifier and customer name and e-mail it to our order team to receive a demo license file.
Regular annual license: After you have uploaded your license file, this mode allows you to use sMart Data Warehouse for the number of users and sensors according to your purchase order for 12 months. The license contract can be extended annually. Please complete the order form including the software identifier and customer name and e-mail it to our order team to receive the annual license file.
