Retail Brunch 2014 Budapest as full success

Wednesday, April 9th, Budapest, Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget

The three technology partners AXIS COMMUNICATIONS, NETAVIS Software and RELEVANCE Analytics together with two major integration partners in Hungary – AGIS Fire & Security as well as T-Systems – designed the RETAIL BRUNCH as a master class to hear about the added value of video technology for business operations in retail. This turned out to be a full success.

Hand selected decision makers of major retail chains in Hungary followed the invitation and gathered information about leading edge technology as well as international best practice examples in retail. The lively sharing of their specific challenges among each other and with the technology experts in the field based on the inspirations given was most valuable for all participants, so the unanimous feedback of participants and partners.

The winner of the Master Class Lottery was Mr. Kovács, Sales Manager of Springfield & Woman’s Secret. He took home the palm sized AXIS M1014 Network Camera and the NETAVIS Observer Basic edition video management platform with four camera licenses, 10 concurrent user licenses and 1 iCAT video analytics license as complete system to start with people counting, heat maps and age group and gender estimation right now! Congratulations!

“With these developments shown today, security departments are no longer limited to their original protecting function. The integration of video management, video analytics and business IT actually enables them to add business value to the organization and provide service in regard to improve revenue per m². That puts the security departments in a whole new internal position.” Miki Bata, moderator of the day and CEO of Aspectis, major distributor of IP video technology in Hungary, points out the powerful impact of integrated solutions.
