NETAVIS licensing for 360° and dual-sensor cameras

Besides common bug-fixes, also the licensing for 360° cameras was significantly improved in the newest version of NETAVIS Observer 4.5.

multi port licensing

Besides bug-fixes, the licensing for 360° cameras was significantly improved in the newest version of NETAVIS Observer 4.5.

These cameras can deliver various single streams, each with different field of views of the entire 360° image. These single streams are also displayed as various single (virtual) cameras in the video management system, as the picture on the left shows.

Starting with Observer 4.5.5, it is now possible to run all these virtual cameras with only one camera licence per physical model. Depending on the camera model, these single image sections can also be managed via virtual PTZ.

This improvement in the licensing system with NETAVIS Observer 4.5.5 also applies to camera models that dispose of more than one

sensor. Thus, for example the colour-stream of a camera and the second black/white stream can each be mounted as a "virtual" camera.
NETAVIS Observer only requires one single camera license.
