From January 21-23, NETAVIS Software presented its integrated solutions with video management, video analytics and sMart Data Warehouse technology at Intersec Dubai. Especially the sMart Data Warehouse showcase for retail and security applications received a lot of attention from the many visitors at the Panasonic booth.

sMart Data Warehouse already transforms data gathered from iCAT Video Analytics or sensors like 3D or IR sensors, etc. into key performance indicators for sound business decisions. The upcoming version 4.0 will furthermore support the visualization of VMS data like NETAVIS Observer's to provide security managers with user-specifically tailored information, such as which cameras' archives are frequently accessed or which cameras frequently suffer from network issues, in Dashboards, Reports and Data Analytics.

 

 

In the live demo at our booth, we used our combination of iCAT Video Analytics and sMart Data Warehouse to measure the number of visitors on the booth and aisles to get a better understand of visitors' behaviour. Below is the sMart Dashboard from the last day of the event:
